Art Body Project
Art Body Project is a photographic study of the male body through self-portraits by Atelier Thom, a Manhattan-based artist, made in a framework of pride, tolerance and honor. These sensual figure studies explore age, weight, and presence, and they stand against body shaming: the older body is not a lesser one, and every male body is worth seeing as art. Art Body Project is in harmony with the artist’s interest in the power and benefits of mindfulness. His self-portraits hang here alongside openly licensed work by other photographers, because the project tries to celebrate as many photographers as possible who work with the male body as figure.
